Zimbabwe have named a 15-man squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against India, with uncapped wicketkeeper Tafadzwa Tsiga getting his first call-up in the format. All-rounder Wessly Madhevere and fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri also returned to the squad, replacing Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa and Tashing Musekiwa. The matches will be played in Harare on 23, 25 and 26 July. Tsiga, who has already played 10 Tests for Zimbabwe, is set to make his white-ball international debut. Madhevere returns to the T20I side for the first time since July 2025 after featuring regularly in Tests and ODIs against Bangladesh. Nyamhuri returned after recovering from the injury that ruled him out of the Bangladesh ODI series, while Tanaka Chivanga kept his place after impressing as his replacement.Sikandar Raza will continue to captain Zimbabwe after leading the team to a memorable series against Bangladesh, where they won the one-off one-innings Test and won the ODI series 2-1 before losing the T20I series 2-1.Zimbabwe now face a much tougher challenge against reigning T20 World Cup champions India. Although India enter the series after recent defeats in Ireland and England, they remain one of the strongest teams in the format.
