Akshay Kumar And Farah Khan Recently reunited for a promotional video for the OTT release of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ where they were Priyadarshan And Rajpal Yadav. The conversation soon turned into a nostalgic trip to their early years in the entertainment industry. Looking back on Farah’s journey before becoming one of Bollywood’s most successful choreographers and filmmakers, Akshay recalls her participation in dance competitions. Farah directed Akshay in ‘Tis Maar Khan’. “I know Farah very well. She used to compete for Rs 5,000, 10,000, 10,000,” Akshay said during this chat on Netflix India’s YouTube channel. Farah quickly corrected him, “No. Don’t lie like that. We would get a thousand rupees.” Akshay went on to admire her dancing talent and remembers regularly spotting her at a famous nightclub in Mumbai. “And she was an amazing dancer. There was a place, a disco called Xanadu. And he would go there,” he said.Farah then turned the spotlight on Akshay’s personal life, leaving everyone laughing. “And he came every week, with a new girlfriend,” he joked. Akshay immediately denied the claim, saying, “Don’t lie. No, no.” “He would only bring a girlfriend,” Farah added.The actor quickly fired back with a joke of his own. “He used to change partners,” she said. In return, a laughing Farah commented, “Why this has happened to me, I don’t understand.” Akshay’s response was equally cheeky: “Because I know about you.” The conversation revisited Akshay’s memorable appearance in Farah Khan’s 2007 blockbuster ‘Om Shanti Om’. Recalling an action sequence in the film, the actor jokingly accused Farah of deliberately choosing a certain camera angle.“The fight scene he took. Where I throw the gun and then I catch it here,” he said, pointing to his pelvis. “And I fire. Nasty woman. I kept yelling, ‘Don’t take it.'” Farrah defended herself with a laugh, “Who told me to shoot the scene from behind?”Akshay immediately replied, “I didn’t.” ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is now streaming on Netflix.
