Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mains Exam Result 2026 as per Advertisement No. 05/2025. Along with the results, the board also announced the category cutoffs of the candidates who appeared for the examination.Candidates who have scored equal to or above the prescribed cut-off marks in their respective categories have been shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment process. Eligible candidates will now have to appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PET) which is a mandatory requirement for final selection.The board announced the results after evaluating the performance of the candidates who passed the preliminary examination. Apart from the list of shortlisted candidates, the BPSSC also announces the official cut-off marks for different categories.

The fifth round is the next hurdle
With the main event results now out, the shortlisted candidates will proceed to the physical fitness test. PET is essentially qualifying and a candidate has to clear it to continue in the recruitment process. For male candidates, the test consists of a 1.6 kilometer run, which must be completed within six minutes. Female candidates must run one kilometer in five minutes. It is recommended that candidates start preparing for the physical test in advance. They should also have their admit card and required medical documents ready for verification during the PET process. BPSSC Result and Cutoff List are now available through the official result document released by the Commission for the recruitment examination.
