NBEMS Recruitment Exam Date 2026 has been announced for 53 Group A, B and C vacancies

NBEMS Recruitment 2026: The National Board of Medical Sciences Examination (NBEMS) has released the recruitment notification for 53 vacancies in Group A, Group B and Group C. The recruitment drive covers various positions including Deputy Director (Medical), Junior Programmer, Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant. The online application process is scheduled to begin on June 29, 2026.According to the notification, eligible candidates will be able to submit applications through online mode before July 20, 2026. NBEMS, an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, will conduct the recruitment process across India. The preliminary review of all notified positions is scheduled to take place on September 5 and 6, 2026.Vacancy details for each positionA total of 53 vacancies were advertised. Among them, 39 vacancies are for junior assistant, seven stenographers, four junior accountants, one junior programmer and two deputy directors (medical).Candidates applying for the post of Deputy Director (Medical) must possess a recognized postgraduate medical qualification. For Junior Programmer positions, applicants should have a BTech, BE, BCA, DOEACC level B or C qualification, or a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Entry-level accountant candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics, or a business degree.For Stenographer and Junior Assistant posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th. Stenographer applicants must also possess shorthand skills, while Junior Assistant candidates should possess computer literacy.Age limits and application feesThe maximum age limit for Deputy Director (Medical) is 35 years. The upper age limit for junior programmers, junior accountants, and junior assistants is 27 years old. Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer must be between 18 and 27 years of age. The age will be relaxed as per the provisions of the Government of India.

The application fee is fixed at Rs 1,500 for candidates belonging to the general, OBC and EWS categories. There is no application fee for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.Selection process and exam timetableThe selection process may include a written examination, skills or shorthand test applicable to the position, document verification, physical examination and preparation of final transcript.Once the registration portal is launched on June 29, 2026, interested candidates can apply through the NBEMS website. Applicants must fill out the online form, upload necessary documents and submit their application before the deadline. The recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled to be held from September 5 to 6, 2026.
