While speaking to PEOPLE at the 5th Annual Las Culturistas Culture Awards at the United Theater in Los Angeles, the actress explained what it’s like to meet her idol. In a past SNL episode, he repeatedly mentioned that his iconic mullet was inspired by McCartney.When they finally got a chance to interact in the next episode, he noticed the first thing. Sharman recalled, “So, basically I was talking a little bit about how he has his mullet from his Wings era, and so he came up to me after the show and he pulled my mullet and he was like, ‘Is that real or is that a wig?’She laughed and told him it was real and her own hair.Sharman later posted about the moment on social media, joking that he would never wash his mullet again.
