this National testing agency (NTA) has launched a WhatsApp communication channel for candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Undergraduate Entrance Test (NEET UG) re-examination scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026. The agency has clarified that all official WhatsApp communications will be sent only through its verified account (number +91 78279 80287). Candidates are advised to verify the presence of the blue verification tick and the name of “National Testing Agency” before trusting any message claiming to be from NTA.In its latest clarification, NTA said that candidates who have already downloaded their admit card for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on June 21 do not need to download it again. SMS, email and WhatsApp notifications are mainly sent to candidates who have not yet accessed their revised admit cards. The agency reiterated that the admit cards issued for the May 3 exam are no longer valid as many students have been allotted new exam centers in their preferred cities. Candidates only need to download and print the June 21 admission ticket once to take the exam.
NTA issues strong advisory against misinformation
As thousands of medical aspirants prepare for their re-examinations, the NTA has issued a stern warning against fraudulent messages being circulated on social media and messaging platforms. The agency said any number using the NTA name but without an official blue verification badge should be considered suspicious.Officials stressed that the WhatsApp service only operates as a broadcast conduit. Candidates will receive updates, exam information and center-related notifications, but they will never be asked to reply to messages, share personal information, disclose OTP or make any payment. The warning comes as online scammers often impersonate official institutions and target students during major entrance exams.Read here: NEET UG re-examination schedule for Riyadh candidatesAlso read: Supreme Court rejects plea for CBT-based NEET UG test
Admission tickets can only be obtained through the official website

The agency advises aspirants to enter the website address manually instead of relying on links forwarded through messages or social media platforms.Importantly, admission tickets issued for the May 3 exam are no longer valid for the upcoming re-examination. Candidates must obtain a new admission ticket issued specifically for the June 21 exam.
No test papers, answers or paid services
In an important warning, NTA reiterated that it will never distribute question papers, answer keys or any so-called “leaked” exam data through WhatsApp, email or social media. The agency also clarified that it will not charge candidates for any exam-related services through the messaging platform. We urge students to be vigilant and ignore any communications claiming to provide early access to exam papers, answers or guaranteed admission.Read here: NMC directs medical colleges to restrict leave ahead of NEET exam
Report fraud and cybercrime
