Although ‘The Big Bang Theory’ actor Jim Parsons may be his most beloved and popular role, it doesn’t seem like the star has a fond memory of the show. During one of her latest interviews, Parsons got candid about her time on the show and how its growing popularity greatly affected her. Not only that, he also mentioned how “sad” the show made him.

Parsons has recently come clean about the negative aspects of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and how the popularity has affected him greatly. While speaking on the show ‘All Out With John Dean’, he shared that he was quite unhappy while doing the show. She added, “I look back now and realize that there were many ways, in the best moments of my life, I was miserable,” she shared. “I wasn’t happy. I was stressed.”Parsons also admitted that despite all the love, popularity and accolades the show brought her, “I wouldn’t do it again and for any amount of money … it was stressful and sad at times. I made myself miserable.”“I felt that there were so many plates that I was supposed to keep in the air and the success in life and the good things that were happening were just because of this extra effort…discipline and whatever. Maybe that was true to a degree. I don’t know. I can’t say because that’s how I was,” he also shared.Parsons also added that many factors contributed to his deteriorating health at the time, including his work ethic and his obsession with certain things, which caused him to miss many moments in his life. Addressing his ‘passions’, the actor noted, “I basically had a list in my head of things that I should do to be comfortable and know that I can do my job properly, which I don’t think is true.”

The actor also ended his note, revealing that it was one of the toughest moments in his life, he is trying to work through his issues and build a better relationship with it. He added, “It’s evolving, and it gets better all the time. What I feel is good, what I think is healthy. It’s not something that I think maybe anybody, but I certainly wasn’t equipped to look back.”Jim Parsons played the lead role of Sheldon Cooper on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ from 2007 to 2019. He also won a Golden Globe Award and several Emmy Awards for his role. He also reprized his role as a voice-over artist on the show ‘Young Sheldon’, a spin-off series that explored his life as a young child.
