Indra Kumar’s star-studded adventure-comedy ‘Dhamal 4’ is facing a vicious secondary wave of online trolling after a bizarre one-minute movie clip was leaked and went viral across social media platforms. Despite solid domestic numbers at the box office, audiences have been aggressively criticizing the film’s sub-par visual effects, particularly a scene where the lead star Ajay Devgn Two whales are seen plunging into his neck before emerging victorious. Netizens were quick to flood platforms like X (formerly Twitter) saying that Devgn’s face looked like a static “cardboard cutout floating on water”, questioning his deadpan expression.

In the clip, Ajay is seen almost drowning, up to his neck in the sea, with only his head visible above the waves. Sanjay Mishra and a young girl sitting on a nearby boat are seen encouraging him to go ahead. Finally, Devgan is shown emerging from the water riding on two whales.

Reacting to the viral clip, one user commented, “One would think that after Dhurandhar, Bollywood filmmakers would start working harder on their work .. but here we are,” another added, “At a time, when India’s global reputation is on the wane, it’s the erstwhile soft power behemoth “Bollywood” that is making full content”. Yet another user didn’t hold back, writing, “Such epic shit, actors will openly shit on it in interviews (Tom Holland).” A section of users insisted that a cutout of Devgn’s face was used in the scene, with one writing, “People are thinking it was Ajay Smr’s cutout have you seen him act before? Aisa hee hee oh,” quipped another, “that’s not a cutout. Ajay Devgan has a wooden face.”Someone else compared the visual to a snake, writing, “Dhamal 4, what bullshit.
