CSIR UGC NET 2026 Correction window closes: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) June 2026 application window today, July 23, 2026. Candidates who wish to make changes to their application form must complete the process by 11:50 pm, after which further corrections will not be allowed under any circumstances. The CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 joint examination is scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode at examination centers across the country from July 17 to 18, 2026.The testing agency has made it clear that it will no longer accept requests to change application details after the correction window has closed. Therefore, candidates are urged not to wait until the last minute and ensure that all information is correct before submitting the revised form.

Here are some steps candidates can take to edit their application form before the correction deadline:
- Log in to the official website of CSIR UGC NET www.csirnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the “Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Correction” link on the homepage of the website.
- Log in using your application number, password and security code.
- Edit your application form.
- Review the data and make any required corrections in the editable fields.
- Save the edited form and submit it after approval.
- If the correction results in the payment of an additional amount, such as a change in category or change in PwBD status, payment is made via credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

Additional fees may apply in some cases
NTA has also informed candidates that changes in certain categories may result in additional charges.
