Veteran Kannada actor Dodnana has contacted cybercrime authorities after a false social media post falsely claimed that he had died.According to the complaint, misleading content was published online and widely shared within a short period of time. This caused concern among well-wishers who initially believed the information. The actor later clarified that the post was completely fabricated and was created using digital tools with AI-based manipulation before being further circulated.According to Money Control’s report, after the complaint filed on June 15, Dodanna approached the North Division Cyber ​​Crime Police. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act. The investigation is currently focused on tracing the unknown persons responsible for creating and spreading false information.
