Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Soni Razdan posted a photo featuring herself, her 97-year-old mother, daughter Alia Bhatt and her granddaughter, all captured in one frame. Explaining the special occasion behind the post, she wrote, “An OG alpha female and four generations in one frame! Alia’s grandmother who is 97 years young. No, today is not her birthday, but she wanted to wish her this way on the eve of her granddaughter’s release.”“In the note, Soni Razdan also revisits his mother’s extraordinary early life, describing the hardships the family endured during World War II. He wrote, “My mother fled Nazi Germany when she was only 6 years old. Although German and not Jewish, she had to run because my grandfather was a brave man and openly opposed Hitler.”He further added, “After years in Czechoslovakia, enduring much hardship, he and his family landed in the UK, escaping on a Jewish Kinder Transport train. The trials he faced were many. He then met and married NN Razdan and finally started a new life in India.”She ended her post with a warm, reflective message about the strength found in women across generations. She concluded, “Alpha females exist in many ways. They are all around us. But in the end, I think all our mothers and grandmothers are alpha females.
