The exclusive preview of Ramayana: Part 1 was only for invited guests at the first Sankalp event in New Delhi. However, shortly after the screening, a phone-recorded clip lasting about 1 minute and 28 seconds began circulating online.According to a Midday report, the trouble started almost immediately after the screening, when an 88-second clip from the trailer started doing the rounds on social media. According to sources, the footage appears to have been recorded on the phone of someone present during the event, capturing Ram’s entry sequence as he agrees to honor his father’s promise to Kaikeyi.Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari have activated their anti-piracy partners and legal teams to detect and remove unauthorized uploads. A source close to the production said takedown efforts had been underway since Saturday night, with the clip successfully pulled from Reddit by Sunday morning, though it proved more difficult to scrub from X (formerly Twitter).
