Indian Institute of Technology Madras ranks 170th in the world with an overall score of 59.3. The university’s most notable feature is its research impact, which can be seen in its high citation score of 95.3 per faculty member. The university also scored highly for employer reputation, with a score of 87.4, while its international research network scored 52.2.This ranking further confirms IIT Madras’ reputation as one of the best research-focused engineering universities in India.
