Who is eligible for JEECUP Counseling 2026?
The following candidates are eligible to participate in the consultation process:
- Residents of Uttar Pradesh appearing for UPJEE (Polytechnic) Examination 2026.
- Candidates from other states who have passed the Uttar Pradesh Institutional Qualifying Examination.
- Children of central government employees serving in Uttar Pradesh.
Seat assignment and document verification
The results of the first round of seat allocation will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who have been awarded a seat can choose the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm the allotment of the seat or the ‘Float’ option to consider better options in subsequent rounds.Selected candidates must complete document verification at the designated regional help center between July 2 and July 5, 2026. Candidates who no longer want to receive the allocated seats can apply to withdraw on July 6, 2026.
