Olivia Wilde shared a fatal incident on the set of Jon Favreau’s 2011 Western action movie that almost cost her life. “Walt Goggins saved my life in that movie,” the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ filmmaker said before adding, “He did. I had a very bad horse accident, and he saved me. It was me and Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, like a full sprint across the desert with 40 horses behind us.As the camera rolls, the horse jumps into a large ditch, causing the actress to lose her balance and fall. “I fell. I hit my head and my back and I was lying down [on the ground]But, unfortunately, I was on the other side of such a lip of dirt, which meant that all the horses behind could not see me,” he said, his ears touching the ground as he galloped towards him with full force. “It sounded like thunder, as if they were coming towards me. And my thought was – this sounds so dramatic – but I thought, this will be quick. That would be, powdered applesauce. Out,” quipped the ‘Booksmart’ director.

Walton Goggins, who is an experienced rider, came to the rescue and saved the actress on the ground. “Walt Goggins saw [me] in front of him and thought in a split second to turn his horse in front of me and let everyone jump into him,” Wild continued of ‘The White Lotus’ star, whom he referred to as ‘Walt.’ As he stood in front the horses had to be split in two.Wrapping up the dangerous incident, he expressed his gratitude to the ‘Fallout’ star, saying, “People split sides around us thinking he’s just gone crazy, but he’s on the ground protecting my body.
