Fans have been given their first official glimpse at Doctor Doom’s throne from the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ film. As shared on X, the major studio is building a commemorative structure at an expo in Shanghai, China that includes Robert Downey Jr. Doctor Doom’s throne marks the first time this iconic material has been confirmed for cinema and released to the public.The design of the throne appears to feature a predominantly white color scheme with an ornate decorative structure located behind the actual seat. Notably the steps leading up to the throne form a mesmerizing scene that elevates Doom above all others in space, reinforcing his imposing presence and superiority complex.
Visual design and architectural elements
The throne display features an oversized green backdrop that mirrors some of the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ logos and background colors seen on the title cards from the trailers released so far.
