Speaking to RTE Radio 1, the famous actor explained that the Belfast riots were one of the main reasons for stopping filming for the upcoming season. “We had to put a break on it, which … it wasn’t great,” he shared, adding that “there’s a lot going on in Ireland, I think from outside the country at the moment. And I think a lot of social media stirs a lot of pot here, and a lot of idle hands sitting around were able to get down the street.“In early June, riots broke out in the Northern Irish capital after Stephen Ogilvie was stabbed and a Sudanese national was arrested in connection with the stabbing. After the riots started, houses and cars were also set on fire.
About ‘Line of Duty’ Season 7
For the upcoming ‘Line of Duty’ season 7, it has been confirmed that the series will have only 6 episodes. Jade Mercurio wrote the entire script for this season. In addition to Dunbar, Vicky McClureAnd Martin Compston will also return for Season 7. Filming and production on the show began in March, with McClure posting about the script in an Instagram post with the caption, “Season seven, we’re back.
