When fans and netizens alike shared on platforms like X and Instagram that they found the mysterious song with the ‘I Knew It, I Know You’ CD inside the scrap paper used for cushioning, Aaron Lewis was totally taken aback.He later shared that the scrap paper, which many fans thought was from the ‘Opalite’ singer, is actually a part of his upcoming album ‘Give Me Back My Country’, which is set for a worldwide release on July 17. Taking to his X account, the singer posted a video of a fan unboxing their CD and revealing mysterious images and lyrics among the packaging material.She shared the video with the caption, “Oh look, I have my new album, which isn’t out yet, shredded as packaging paper at the Taylor Swift March. Isn’t that some ****.” Parts of her songbook and other printed material for her album were stuck to the package material.

Aaron Lewis opened up about the incident
Speaking to USA TODAY, Aaron opened up about how surprising the event was, since his album has yet to be released. He shared that he first found out about the incident after filming the unboxing video with the singer’s fans, trying to decipher her lyrics and wondering if they were Swift’s.He added, “I don’t see anything like that, and when it was brought up to me, I was just like, ‘What’s going on? This is just weird.’ This is the cover of my brand new record that is not out yet. It’s not like it’s old stuff that was sitting around that they decided to make packing material. This is my new record. I just don’t understand how that could happen.”He also clarified that he’s not blaming Swift or her team for the issue, as he himself doesn’t know exactly what happened. At the time of writing, there has been no statement from the ‘Blank Space’ singer.
