Bollywood superstar, Sanjay Dutt, recently sat down with Dr. D Nageswara Reddy of AIG Hospital, where he opened up about what his prison term taught him. The topic was raised when the host and guest were talking about Sanjay Dutt’s fame ‘Jadu Ki Jappi’ And sorry and thank you standards. These two common terms make a person ungrounded, noted Dr. Reddy. Adding to his statement, Sanjay Dutt spoke about the importance of forgiveness.Recalling his time in prison, he shared, “I learned this during my prison time. I learned to forgive.”“A hauldar (constable) taught me this. He told me, ‘Learn to forgive people, and you will grow in life,'” said the ‘Real’ actor.He explained how the constable told him that no matter what people hurt him, he should practice forgiveness. The actor added that, while it sounds like a noble thought, it’s easier said than done. “But it’s very difficult to do,” he admitted.“That’s the main thing,” he concluded.

When Sanjay Dutt said jail time shattered his ego

In another media interaction, Dutt spoke more about his jail time. “It shattered my ego,” he told IANS before adding, “My days in captivity have been nothing less than a roller coaster ride. To look at the positive side, it has taught me a lot and made me a better person.”

Sanjay Dutt wants his father to live to see him free

Sanjay Dutt was released from prison in 2016, a decade after the death of his father Sunil Dutt. When he opened up about the same during his interaction with the aforementioned publication, he shared, “The day I got released after the final verdict was the happiest moment of my life. I was missing my father (Sunil Dutt). I wish he would have lived to see me free. He would have been the happiest person.”He conveyed the message that family is the greatest strength and should never be taken for granted.
