Sharing the anecdote, he wrote, “Yesterday I met a Dhurrander crew member who saw Aditya Dhar fighting for his vision every day of pre-production, shoot and post. There are no shortcuts. It was conviction versus convenience. That’s the difference. Filmmaking is not ‘shooting-shooting’.Earlier, during an appearance on ‘Controversial Podcast’, Sanjay opened up about his efforts to bring ‘Dhurandhar’ to life. He revealed that Aditya spent almost four years on the ambitious project before it finally went on floors.“It’s very clear that Aditya Dhar is inspired by the filmmakers of the 80s and 90s. I can clearly see those influences and that style of world-building. There’s no doubt that Aditya Dhar is an exceptionally intelligent filmmaker. But having said that, he spent four years putting this project together.
