The actor told everyone that he had just started work on ‘Ramayan’ and there was still a lot to do before he realized the role. He said, “Honestly, I have done little work on the film so far. I still have a long way to go.” For Sunny, the sheer scale of the film is only part of the challenge. He said that ‘Ramayana’ means a lot to the people of India, which makes playing one of his most beloved characters a bigger responsibility than a typical film role. He thanked the makers for choosing him for the part and said, “I am grateful that I got the chance to play the role of Hanuman ji. I will try my best to portray him properly.”Deol clarified that this role is not easy. He pointed out that Hanuman cannot be defined only by physical strength. The character embodies qualities that sit at odds with one another: gentleness alongside great strength, bravery with innocence, and power balanced with deep devotion. “Playing Hanuman ji is not easy,” said Sunny. “But I know I’m going to really enjoy it. She’s playful, innocent and strong. He is beloved by all and above all a devotee of Lord Rama.”

The actor also admitted that public speaking is not something that comes easily to him. Once he finished talking about Hanuman, he admitted that facing such a large crowd made him a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, he took the opportunity to urge the audience to support the team. “We need everyone’s blessings as we have undertaken such a huge project,” he said. Sunny also expressed his belief that Ramayana will connect with audiences nationwide. “I strongly believe that every Indian will watch it,” he added.
