UGC Network June 2026 Retest: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-examination of some candidates who were affected by technical issues during the June 2026 UGC NET exam at the CT Institutional Examination Center in Jalandhar. The outage was reported during the first shift of the exam, which was conducted on June 22, 2026.The issue was reported by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the company has been identified as responsible for conducting the inspection, the NTA said in an official notification issued. The agency clarified that the inconvenience was limited to candidates at the affected centers who, despite being present, were unable to take or complete the exam due to technical issues.Announcing re-exams for affected Shift I candidatesAs per the notification, only those candidates who were at the CT Institutional Examination Center in Jalandhar but failed to appear or complete the exam will be eligible to appear for the re-examination. The NTA regrets the inconvenience caused and confirmed that affected candidates will be given the opportunity to sit for the exam again.

The re-examination is scheduled to be held on July 5, 2026 at 3:00 pm. These admission tickets will contain information regarding exam schedules, check-in times, and other instructions for eligible candidates.Candidates affected by the disruption are advised to monitor the NTA official website for the latest information regarding the issuance of revised admit cards and other exam-related announcements.An official notification issued by the Director of Examinations, NTA, confirmed that the rescheduling of exams will only apply to the affected candidates in Shift I, Jalandhar Centre.
