'Dhurandhar 2' New OTT Release Update: Unmuted International Cut of Ranveer Singh Film to Release in India, Here's When and Where You Can Watch

Fans of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ are in for a different viewing experience as the film’s fully uncut international version is finally reaching Indian audiences. Almost two months after the Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller dominated the box office, Netflix India has announced that it will stream the uncensored version of the blockbuster along with the previously released ‘Raw & Undekha’ version.Netflix India teased the release on Thursday with a new promotional video shared across its social media platforms, confirming that the international cut will be available for streaming from June 19.Unlike the version shown in Indian theatres, this version restores the original foreign cut, has unmuted dialogues, uncensored language and the full audio track. The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.The release comes shortly after the film’s Indian OTT debut on JioHotstar on June 4. While fans were eager to watch action thrillers at home, the platform faced backlash for opting for a live-stream format instead of offering films on demand.The Netflix version also brings back several scenes that were either shortened or removed from the theatrical release. Viewers can expect extended action sequences, strong language and more graphic depictions of violence.One of the most talked about additions is the beheading sequence involving Uzair Baloch and Arshad Pappu, a scene that was heavily promoted in the trailer but was ultimately omitted from the theatrical cut. Several action set pieces have also been restored, including hammer attacks, beheadings and moments from the film’s brutal cement-block climax.

It is currently ranked as the second-highest grossing Indian film worldwide, behind only ‘Dangal’.With the latest success of the sequel, the overall ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise has now crossed the Rs 3,200 crore mark worldwide.
