9 years ago, KARD made history by debuting as one of the very few groups to feature a co-editing system. Now, after being together for a long time, the group has confirmed that they will be disbanding soon after completing some activities for fans. The news comes as a shock to fans who have been waiting for the group’s comeback.

KARD will expire after 9 years

The K-pop group announced through their management agency that they will be disbanding after finishing promotion for their first full-length album and a world tour. The group is already in the middle of a tour, which is why the news comes as a big shock to many fans who have been looking forward to the group’s future activities.Their management took to their social media channels to share the announcement with the world. The official statement reads: “After careful and thoughtful discussions with the four members, we have mutually agreed that this album and tour will mark the end of KARD’s journey as a group. The members have poured their hearts into the preparation of this album and tour, and we sincerely hope that these final activities will be cherished memories for HIDDEN KARD.” We kindly ask for your continued love and support until the end as KARD shares a final chapter with you as best they can.”

KARD will release their first full-length album

The group announced that they would be promoting and releasing their first and final full-length album. The title is aptly set up for their eventual comeback ‘Where Now? (Part 2): Nowhere’. According to the teaser shared on their social media channels, the album is set to release on July 28 at 6pm KST on various global streaming platforms worldwide.KARD debuted in 2017 and has released 8 mini EPs throughout their career. They debuted with ‘Hola Hola’, followed by ‘You and Me’ (2017), ‘Ride on the Wind’ (2018), ‘Red Moon’ (2020), ‘Re:’ (2022), ‘Icky’ (2023), ‘Where Now? (Part 1 : Yellow Light) (2024), and finally ‘Drift’ (2025).

KARD’S ULTIMATE WORLD TOUR: ‘DRIFT’

The group is currently on their ‘Drift’ world tour spanning three continents. They will next kick off their tour in Tokyo, followed by European legs in Germany, Spain, the UK and Bulgaria. Finally, there will be their final farewell stage in Jakarta and other shows on the Asian continent.
