BMW India today finally launched the BMW X6 M60i coupe SUV in the Indian market at a price of Rs 1.78 crores (ex-showroom). The SUV will be available in India via the CBU route; pre-orders are now open. The company also offers a 60% guaranteed buyback after 3 years/10,000 km. The BMW X6 M60i is offered in six color options – Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. Upholstery is available in standard Sensafin trims with Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black and Cognac options.

First, if we talk about the powertrain, the new BMW X6 will be powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. It gets 48V mild hybrid technology and comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. It also gets rear-wheel steering, adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential and a rear-biased xDrive all-wheel drive system. The coupe can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.In terms of design, the new BMW X6 M60i has an updated style while retaining its coupe-SUV form. The front end now features a redesigned illuminated kidney grille, slimmer adaptive LED headlamps with new daytime running light cues and a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes and gloss black inserts. The profile continues with the sloping roofline that defines the X6, along with new alloy wheel designs and M-specific exterior elements. Sculpted body panels and a pronounced shoulder line maintain the SUV’s muscular stance.At the rear, BMW has revised the LED taillight graphics and updated the bumper with larger exhaust surrounds and a diffuser-inspired design. The overall styling continues to combine luxury SUV proportions with a performance-focused look.Moving inside, the BMW X6 M60i features a two-tone interior and a layered dashboard featuring BMW’s curved display that integrates a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include power front seats with ventilation, heating and memory functions, dual-zone automatic climate control, cordless phone power, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and tire pressure monitoring system. The SUV also gets a suite of advanced driver assistance systems, while the India-spec model is expected to offer a similar equipment list.
