While acknowledging the wider controversy, Anjana said she was aware of the concerns and appreciated those who spoke openly about the issue. She particularly praised the actresses who chose to express their discomfort and stand up for themselves.Speaking about this, he told Mid-Day, “I personally did not go through that at all, because my pictures were not like that. But I have heard about the debate going on. I think it’s a battle you have to fight. I’m so hungry that Janhvi stood up for this and fought for women who are going to fall in line, you know, or who find it offensive. Nor will they have the courage to stand up and say, ‘I am not comfortable.‘”

Anjana also reflected on her experience of working with veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in ‘Mey Vapas Aunga’. The actress admitted that she was initially intimidated by the acclaimed performer because of her status and fame in the industry. Anjana mentioned that Naseeruddin Shah was deeply invested in her character during filming. He was careful not to interrupt his creative process and preferred to give him the space he needed while preparing for emotionally demanding scenes.“I must say I was intimidated by Nasir Saab because he’s a legend and his character was very intense, so I couldn’t have too many conversations with him because I also didn’t want to break his space, you know, what he’s feeling as a character.”Elaborating on his approach, Sukhani added, “You don’t want to break someone’s emotions and interfere because it takes a lot to create something like this.”
