The actor recreated the iconic ‘Kadukuvara’ scene from the 2005 Malayalam drama ‘Achuvinte Amma’.The Instagram reel went viral across social media. Within a day of its release, the video garnered 495,000 likes. Celebrities and fans alike have flooded the comments section with praise for Vidya’s recreation of the memorable scene.

Released in 2005, ‘Achuvinte Amma’ was directed by Satyan Anthikad and written by Ranjan Pramod from a story by Rajesh Jayaraman. The family drama starred Urvashi, Meera Jasmine and Narain in lead roles, while Ilayaraja composed the music. The film marks Urvashi’s comeback to Malayalam cinema after six years. Her performance received much appreciation from the audience and critics and won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.The “Kadukuvara” sequence continues to enjoy cult status. Urvashi’s natural and flawless delivery and her superb comic timing make this one of the most revisited scenes in Malayalam cinema.Urvashi was recently seen in the Tamil film Parimala and Co.
