OTT release details of ‘Gatta Kushti 2’
Netflix has officially announced that it has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film. Once its theatrical run ends, ‘Gatt Kushti 2’ will begin streaming on the platform. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. An official date has yet to be unveiled.
The film recorded positive weekend collections
According to Sacknilk’s trade estimates, the film collected an estimated Rs 6.20 crore (Indian net) on its third day. This shows a growth of 25.3% compared to Rs 4.95 crore earned on the previous day.The third day collection came from around 2,400 shows across India. The film’s cumulative India net collection rose to Rs 13.85 crore, while its India total stood at Rs 15.93 crore.
Veera and Keerthi face a new challenge
The sequel continues the hero’s journey starring Keerthi portrayed by Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lakshmi. It follows the events of the original film.Veera encourages Keerthy to pursue her dream of becoming a national wrestling champion. Kirti concentrates on her training and fulfilling her duties as a civil servant, while Veer manages their home.However, the story takes a twist when a wrestling coach wants Keerthy to have a successful career.The couple’s marriage became strained and it eventually led to their separation. Veera soon accuses herself of being responsible for Keerthi’s failure.With an interesting plot, like the first part, ‘Gatta Kusti 2’ is also receiving good reviews from the audience.
