You need to know if you are mentally and emotionally compatible.”He went on to explain that compatibility extends beyond romance and includes important aspects of building a life together.“If you’re planning to have children, how do you raise them? What’s your approach to finances? If there’s no harmony, what’s the point? Won’t you have five happy years instead of fifteen miserable ones? That’s what I believe,” he added.
‘The honeymoon phase doesn’t last forever’
The actress also spoke about the reality of long-term relationships, saying that many mistakenly believe that only romance can sustain a marriage.“People think romance will last forever. Nothing lasts forever. Relationships are always a work in progress. There’s give and take, adjustments and compromises to make things work. Relationships evolve. If you think the honeymoon phase is going to last forever, it’s not,” she said.
