MUMBAI: Over 53,000 students have so far registered for the centralized admission process (CAP) to six professional and higher education courses for the academic year 2026-27, according to data from the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) panel.The ongoing admission process covers Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd), three-year LLB, five-year LLB, M.Ed and three-year B.Ed-M.Ed integrated programmes. As of June 23, a total of 53,017 candidates have completed registration.CET Cell appeals to students appearing for the 2026 entrance examination to complete their CAP registration before the respective deadlines to avoid last-minute issues.Among the six courses, the three-year LLB course had the highest enrollment with 36,395 applicants out of 69,473 CET-eligible candidates. The five-year LLB course attracted 11,496 registrations out of 29,288 qualified candidates.Registration for the BPEd, MPEd and three-year LLB courses opened on June 11 and will continue until June 30. Applications for the Master of Education and Bachelor of Integrated Education-Master of Education programs opened on June 16 and will close on July 6. Registration for the five-year LLB course opens on June 19 and will continue until July 9. The CET panel said the admission schedule for other courses will be announced soon.Officials advised students to upload passport-size color photographs, scanned signatures and all required academic and supporting documents in the prescribed format while completing the online application process.
