Wild revealed that he visited SpaceX when the company recently set up its headquarters. I really resent him deeply,” Wilde said.Recalling the meeting, he added, “I met him years ago. I think SpaceX built their headquarters in LA. And I had to go on a tour because I wanted to see the rocket ship.”He said Musk has expressed interest in donating to the organization.“He was interested in donating money to an organization that I was a part of in Haiti that was building hospitals and schools. I believe he donated a little bit of money and that was appreciated.”
‘She seemed really smart’
Wilde admits that while he found Musk intelligent during their interactions, he never expected his public persona to develop.“I was baffled by him. I never could have predicted the path he went down. He seemed really smart,” she said.Summarizing how he now sees the billionaire, Wilde adds that he met him long ago “before he turned into an animal.”His comments come amid Musk’s continued prominence in world politics, business and social media, where his statements and actions often spark widespread controversy.
