The spy thriller opened its advance bookings on Wednesday, just two days ahead of its theatrical release. Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharbari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, ‘Alpha’ is expected to enjoy a healthy start at the box office.According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film collected around Rs 1.75 crore in advance bookings. He expects the action entertainer to collect more than 5 crores on its opening day, if the audience’s word of mouth is favourable, it is likely to touch around Rs 15 crores on its opening weekend.‘Alpha’ released alongside Huma Qureshi’s ‘Baby Do Die Do’. However, trade experts believe that both films cater to different audience segments, making direct competition less likely.
