The festivities began on June 15, 2026, in Venice, Italy, where guests gathered to cheer the couple’s wandering spirits at a welcome party. “We wanted everyone to experience the joy and happiness at some point in La Dolce Vita, so it was very romantic to start in Venice, and it was really fun to plan because it’s such an iconic, powerful place,” Ghibli explained to the outlet. Two days later, the group took the ferry to Rovinj and had a relaxing evening settling into the city.Along with the June 19 rehearsal dinner at Cliffside, Ghibli and Horstmann made sure to make the most of the great evening with a cocktail bar, appetizers, dancing and toasts. The next day the wedding festivities began at the cemetery on the island of St. Andrews, off the coast of Rovinj. She walked down the aisle to Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’, wearing a dreamy floral dress and supported by her father.Meanwhile, Horstmann walked alongside his mother in a shiny three-piece suit. The couple’s 2-year-old son served as ring bearer. “The mission was to make the other person cry as hard as possible,” Horstmann shared. The celebration of love ended with a reception at the historic Hutterott Castle by the sea. For their mini-moon, the newlyweds plan a trip to Greece, while their official honeymoon includes a safari trip later this year.
