The fight sequence is said to be one of the biggest scenes that the ‘Baahubali’ director has planned for weeks. What will be filmed on set is just the beginning.Reports also suggest that thousands of junior artists will later be multiplied using visual effects. Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Rudra in the film. Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be seen as Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen as Kumbha. The film marks the return of Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Indian cinema after a gap of eight years.‘Varanasi’ is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on April 7, 2027.
