Jay Z said the concert was delayed due to crowd safety concerns
As the rapper took the stage, he apologized for the delay and explained what happened. He shared, “Let me explain the delay to you guys. There were like 10,000 people outside, and we closed all the doors, and somebody ran in the door. They closed the doors for the safety of your friends and the safety of everyone outside. There are 10,000 people outside; I don’t want the music to start and people get trampled. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, but I had to make sure everyone was okay. I appreciate your patience.”The show begins after 12pm ET, about three hours after the original scheduled time, and ends around 2:45pm ET.
