Since last few years, there has been a big change in Bachchan’s likes and how he is perceived. Be it ‘Breed: Into the Shadows’ or ‘Sleep’, ‘I Want to Talk’ or ‘Dasvi’. As Abhishek completes 26 years in the industry today, when asked about his changes as an actor, he said in an interview with ETimes, “The only thing that has changed is that I am more comfortable. I think there was some discomfort when I started. But now I feel more comfortable in front of the camera.” She added, “When you’re just comfortable with yourself and your skin, it gives you clarity about making decisions. I’m very clear today, or I can say what I don’t want to do at this point in the last five to seven years. There was such excitement at the beginning of your career, such insecurity about what you’re going to do, what you’re not going to do.” Abhishek says he is very clear about the kind of work he wants to do today. “At this point I’m clear, at this point I don’t want to do it. That means I definitely want to do it. So, there’s a lot more conviction involved and it comes from a certain maturity and calmness. I think that helps in your work as well. We’re not all over the place anymore, I’d like to believe.” When further asked about having no feelings of insecurity, he said, “I was never an insecure actor from the point of view of Yeh Kya Kaar Raha Hai. Insecure about my abilities, yes. I think all actors are.. about, ‘Can I do it?'” Abhishek also added that how an actor performs is the responsibility of the director. During this throwback interview, the actor was also accompanied by Shoojit Sarkar and when asked if Abhishek did justice to his role in ‘I Want To Talk’, the actor said, “It’s tough, you can’t ask him.” He added, “You can’t ask him that, because he fixes the take. It’s not me. Actors get stonewalled but it’s always the director’s fault (laughs). He’s the one who decides if it’s good enough.” On the work front, Abhishek is currently shooting Shah Rukh KhanIts ‘king’. The actor was recently seen at the airport Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya when they were out of town.
