Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently suffered a minor leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘NBK111’ in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.Nandamuri Kalyan Ram took to social media to wish Balakrishna a speedy recovery. Sharing a heartwarming note, the actor expressed confidence that his uncle will recover quickly and return to work soon. He wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery, Dad. I’m sure you’ll be back at work in no time.”
Balakrishna is injured during an action sequence
The incident reportedly took place when Balakrishna was shooting an action sequence with Manchu Manoj at Kakinada port.According to India Today, during the shoot, the actor slipped while performing a stunt which resulted in injury to his leg.Filming was immediately stopped and the actor was taken to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Doctors ruled out the injury as a minor muscle tear before conducting scans and other tests.The production team has confirmed that Balakrishna will undergo a minor surgery as suggested by the doctors.
Manufacturers issue official health updates
The production house released an official statement addressing Balakrishna’s condition and providing clarity on his treatment.The statement read, “During the filming of an intense action sequence for #NBK111 in Kakinada, Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu tore a minor muscle. As advised by the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgical procedure to ensure a speedy and complete recovery.”They added, “The procedure is routine and there is no cause for concern. We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming her back on set very soon.”
Junior NTRO also shared a heartwarming message
Soon after the news of the injury broke, Junior NTRO also sent his best wishes to Balakrishna through social media.Sharing an emotional message, he wrote, “Get well soon Bala Babai (Uncle). Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you roaring to full…”
