‘Welcome to the Jungle’ saw an expected drop at the box office on its first Monday after a strong opening weekend.According to initial estimates, the comedy played Akshay Kumar In the lead, Monday saw a major dip in its total collection, but still managed to cross Rs 100 crore in four days.A report by Sacknilk said that the entertainer collected an estimated Rs 8.50 crore in India on Day 4 across 10,922 shows. With this, the film dropped by 65.7 percent from its Sunday collection.The film started its theatrical run with a strong start, earning Rs 3.75 crore from the preview shows offered before collecting Rs 15.25 crore on its opening day on Friday. It continued its upward trend over the weekend, earning Rs 20 crore on Saturday and reaching Rs 24 crore on Sunday.While business expectations pegged the film’s opening Monday collection in the double-digit range, the film fell short of that mark, earning an estimated Rs 8.50 crore. With this, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ earned an estimated India net collection of Rs 72.25 crore in four days. On the other hand its total gross collection now stands at Rs 86.53 crore.The film maintained a steady performance overseas as well. It collected Rs 3 crore gross on day 4, taking its cumulative overseas total to Rs 19.95 crore.After four days the combined worldwide gross of the film is now estimated at Rs 106.48 crore.Despite the sharp Monday drop, the film remains firmly on track to earn a total of Rs 90-100 crore by the end of its first week, provided it can maintain momentum through the working week. The film is currently facing competition from Hindi release ‘Cocktail’.The film will face additional competition this week with the release of the Hollywood animated comedy, ‘Minions and Monsters’, which will hit theaters across India on July 2, 2026. The film will face additional competition with the release of spy-action film ‘Alpha’ starrer.
