The actor recently sat down for an interview with Esquire, where he opened up about fatherhood and being a parent. Showing photos of her wearing pink makeup, the actor shared a joke that though she may complain a lot about it, she loves every second of it. He added, “It’s my greatest joy; I love doing it. My favorite thing about being a dad is having such a great relationship with all my girls.”After all, he also weighed in on what it was like for him to be a father at a young age, saying that he and his first daughter Simone “grew up together.” She added, “At that point in my life, I was just flying by the seat of my pants, and I had no idea what I was doing. I was trying to figure myself out, and my first daughter was two, three, four, five, six years old; those are very complicated ages to be around you, but I always want to say that we grew up together, her and me.”For the uninitiated, the actor is father to three daughters: Simone, Jasmine and Tiana.
What Dwayne Johnson loves most about being a father
The actor joked about an incident in his life that made him love being a father even more. She shared that her daughters know to come to her when their mother tells them not to. He shared, “What I also love about being a dad is when their mom says nothing, they know, come to me. ‘I’m going to show you that I love you more than your mom.'”In the caption of the post he made about the interview, the actor wrote, “Sometimes we men are still trying to figure ourselves out, while at the same time, trying to figure out how to be a great dad to our little ones.”
