Several Argentine players were involved in clashes during the Spanish celebration. Visuals of the ugly scenes soon went viral on social media.Leandro Paredes and Thiago Almada were seen wrestling Spanish midfielder Gavi to the ground. In another incident, Paredes grabbed Spain defender Eric Garcia by the neck.Nahuel Molina also appears to have hit Spain midfielder Rodrigo as he ran to celebrate with his teammates.Veteran defender Nicolas Otamendi was involved in a heated argument with Rodri over comments allegedly made by Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte before the final. According to Article 14 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, players found guilty of violent conduct face a suspension of at least three matches.The same minimum ban applies to offenses that include: attacking, elbowing, punching, kicking, biting, spitting, hitting an opponent or any person other than a match official.
