National broadcaster Doordarshan have good news for you Devotees of Lord Ram. Doordarshan has announced that it will telecast morning prayers live Idol of Ram Lalla daily at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Doordarshan shared the same in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Doordarshan said morning aarti Offered to Ram Lalla will be telecast live on DD National from 6:30 AM every morning. The national broadcaster said the decision to telecast the morning aarti live every day was taken to unite Lord Ram’s devotees, especially after the grand opening of the temple less than two months ago and not everyone being able to visit the temple in person. Aarti will also be streamed simultaneously on DD’s YouTube channel.
Secondly, this decision was made because the Trust currently does not have the logistical arrangements for live streaming. Therefore, the DD will send a two-three man crew in the temple area to cover the daily ritual.
DD’s announcement that it will telecast its Aarti live every morning for 30 minutes comes after a push from the programme. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the same. First DD will air the ‘Mangala aarti’ for a few months and then the Ram Temple Trust will take a call on how to take it forward.
Daily 6 Aartis at Ayodhya Ram Temple
Ayodhya Ram temple has 6 aartis of Ram Lalla which are held every day. These include Mangala Aarti at 4:30 am, Shringaar Aarti at 6:30 am, Rajbhog Aarti at 12 pm, Utthapan Aarti at 2 pm, Sandhya Aarti at 7 pm and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm.
Giving directions to the devotees for the aarti, the temple trust said, “Entrance to Mangala Aarti at 4 am, Shringar Aarti at 6:15 pm and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm is only through admission ticket. No admission ticket is required for other Aartis.”
Trust advice to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra devotees
Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra in its advice to devotees visiting the temple for darshan said, “Devotees can enter Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir for Darshan from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. After darshan, the entire process from entry to exit of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is quite simple and convenient. Smooth Darshan of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar within 60-75 minutes.”
The temple trust has advised devotees to keep their mobile phones, shoes, wallets and other personal belongings outside the Mandir premises to save time and convenience.
He also requested the devotees not to bring flowers, garlands, Prasad to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
