UGC NET June 2026: NTA opens portal for candidates with disabilities to submit scribe details

National testing agency (State Administration of Taxation) has opened an online portal for eligible Persons with Disability (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates to submit their scribe details for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination.As per the announcement issued on June 18, 2026, eligible candidates can submit their transcribing details through the official website of UGC NET within the stipulated time.

UGC NET June 2026 Exam date

The UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted at various centers across the country on the following dates: June 22, 2026, June 23, 2026, June 24, 2026, June 25, 2026, June 29, 2026, June 30, 2026.NTA has informed the candidates of their examination city and examination date through advance city notification slips. Admission tickets have also been issued.

Scribe details submission window

This facility is provided for eligible disabled and disabled candidates who wish to use scribe facilities during their examinations.As per the schedule announced by NTA, the portal for submission of scribe details will remain open during the following times:

  • June 18, 2026 to June 20, 2026 (as of 5 p.m.)

Candidates are advised to complete the process within the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.

How to Submit UGC NET 2026 Transcription Details

Candidates can register their scribe details by following the steps below:

  • Please visit UGC NET official website.
  • Log in using your application credentials.
  • Click on the ‘Registered Scribe Details’ option available on the candidate’s home page.
  • Select the scribe option and enter the required information.
  • Submit details carefully.
  • Once submitted, the information will be reflected in the “View Application Form” section and the confirmation page.

Important Notes to CandidatesThe NTA has clarified that the ‘Register Scribe Details’ button will be visible only to eligible PWD and PWD candidates who are entitled to avail the Scribe facility.Candidates are advised to check all details carefully before submitting as the information provided will be used during the examination.For the latest updates of UGC NET June 2026, candidates should visit the official website regularly.
