In a recent video shared with her hair care brand, Beyoncé revealed a sweet detail about her daughter Blue Ivy and her father’s bond. The rapper recently combed his locks after almost 8 years.Revealing the reason behind it all, she shared in the YouTube post that “Our daughter was about 5, and wasn’t feeling very confident with her hair at the time. When she told her dad, it inspired Jay to grow her hair.” She added that “We really wanted her to love and embrace every inch of her beautiful curls.” He added that young Neil “had no idea that his father’s hair texture was similar to his.”Jay-Z was recently spotted sporting his natural hair during Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. Apart from that, she decided to comb her hair for her latest Philadelphia show, where she performed with The Roots. It was also revealed that another reason for combing his hair was the rapper’s way of paying tribute to his father, Adonis Reeves.In the video, she also revealed what Jay-Z’s hair looked like while combing it and called him one of her “most loyal” customers.
