‘Meet the New Faces of Gotham’, DC Studios has released the much-awaited trailer for their new horror thriller ‘Clayface’ starring Tom Reese Harris.The film will see him portray the shape-shifting villain Clayface, whose real name is Matt Hagen. He starts out as a struggling actor whose face gets disfigured and then undergoes a scientific transformation that completely turns his body into ground.The reveal comes ahead of this week’s Comic-Con, where the James Watkins-directed film is expected to show off more of its wares.According to reports, the film on the iconic Batman villain falls between DC Studios’ two Matt Reeves-directed Batman films – 2022’s ‘The Batman’ and 2028’s ‘The Batman Part II’, both starring. James Gunn introduces Tom Rees Harris as ‘Clayface’
The announcement about the casting of Tom Rhys Harris was made by DC Studios head James Gunn, who shared in a social media post, “After a long and incredibly extensive search, we’ve finally found our DCU clayface in @tomrhysharries. Matt Reeves and I are both blown away by this guy, and you can’t wait to see the film written by James. By Mike Flanagan.”

Clayface first appeared in a 1940 issue of “Detective Comics” and many people have taken up the moniker to fight Batman throughout countless comics and several animated shows.
