The actress, who appeared in the premiere episode of the show with her Alpha co-star Sharbari, answered a question about whether she was paid for her appearance.During a promotional event at Jaipur’s JECRC University earlier this week, Alia interacted with students while promoting Shiv Ravel’s spy thriller. A student asked him why he chose to appear on the controversial comedy show. Before he could answer, someone in the audience shouted, “Money!” (Money).At this comment Alia quipped, “Kaun Bola? Poor Adami.” (Who said that? Some poor guy), drawing laughter from the audience.

A callback to India’s Got Latent 2

Alia’s comment was a playful reference to a memorable moment from the premiere episode of India’s Got Latent 2. During the show, host Raina asked a contestant, “What does a girl want from a man?” Someone in the audience shouted, “Money!” , Alia asked, “Who said that?” , to which Samay jokingly replied, “Koi garib aadmi.”Callback time is not lost either. Sharing a clip of Jaipur’s interaction on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Hahahahaha total kill,” along with a smiley emoji.

Raina praised Alia and Sharbari

The premiere episode of India’s Got Latent 2, which was released simultaneously on Netflix and YouTube, featured guest appearances by Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.After the episode aired, Time praised both actresses for their willingness to join in on the fun.
