Now a cake seems to have joined that list. TN CM and Vijay’s 52nd birthday celebration cake became popular in Chennai, with customers giving it a name inspired by him.

On Vijay’s 52nd birthday, the actress Trisha Krishnan shared a birthday picture with Vijay. The two were seen smiling together in the photo, and she wrote, “The person who makes it worth it. HBD.” Soon after the photo went viral, many fans started noticing the cakes seen at the celebration. Almost a month after pictures of the celebration went viral on social media, the mango vanilla cake has become one of the bakery’s most popular items.

CM Cake Baker shares his surprise

In a chat with India Today, Chennai-based baker Tanvi Bokaria said the sudden response was totally unexpected. He revealed that his bakery had no idea that the cake was being made for Vijay’s birthday. He said, “It was overnight fame for us. We had no idea what the cake was for. It was incredibly special, and it totally caught me off guard. The last two weeks have been extremely chaotic with sales, but I’m grateful for that.”He further added, “My party is a huge fan of CM Joseph Vijay.”

According to Tanvi, the bakery has sold around 300 to 400 of the same mango vanilla cake in just two weeks. He said, “We sold around 300 to 400 CM Vijay birthday cakes in just a few weeks. It was absolutely nuts!”The cake also received a new name from customers. Tanvi said, people don’t want mango pita anymore.“It’s no longer called mango pitha. Now it’s called CM cake. That’s how customers order them now: ‘Can we have CM cake?'” he said.He also shared that this is the highest number of orders his bakery has received for a single cake.Vijay is currently gearing up for the release of his much awaited film ‘Jana Naigaan’. The film is said to be his last film and is slated to hit the theaters on July 23. After a long tussle with the CBFC, it has now received an ‘A’ certificate.
