Reflecting on the next chapter in his career during a July 20 appearance on ‘Good Morning America,’ Tom Holland shared details about his preparations for the Fred Astaire biopic. Holland revealed that she is already back in the dance studio preparing for the long-awaited project, describing her first rehearsal sessions as a humbling experience. “I recently did my first few rehearsals, and it filled me with both excitement and absolute dread because I have so much work to do to try to make Fred proud,” Holland said during the interview.

Holland admits he is entering a new professional phase where he can no longer rely on youthful charm alone. “I feel like I’m starting this chapter now where I can’t get away from being a teenager anymore,” the actor said. “For me, what I love about my job is the challenges. We have Fred Astaire coming up, which we’re planning to do. And as soon as I finish these tours, I’m going back to the dance studio,” he added.

The biopic that was supposed to be directed Paul King From a screenplay by Steven Levenson, first announced in 2021, when Holland confirmed he had signed on to play Astaire.
