While discussing his career in an interview with ‘The Rest Is Entertainment’, the famous actor reminisced about his career and shared how each movie he has done has a different meaning for him. Although some have lived up to the mark, many other projects have not met his satisfaction.He began by saying that all his films have been a great experience for him, no matter how they turned out. “I don’t watch these movies after the first time, really, ’cause they never change, and there are movies that have their moments. [them] That I can’t see because I haven’t been there. And sometimes these are big moments. I simply don’t get there. And I know it. And I was confused about anything.”
Tom Hanks admits he had a hard time watching ‘Cast Away’
One of his most popular works, ‘Cast Away’, recalls the plane he was on, with several FedEx parcels, crashing on a barren island. From befriending a ball to being rescued, the film was a great experience for him.However, his reunion scene with Kelly Frears, played by the one and only Helen Hunt, is one of those scenes he never wants to see again. Why, he provided more details and shared, “Chuck comes back to Kelly’s house, and he gives him his watch back, and there’s a moment where I feel like I’m not there. Everything changes on me. I make this gesture that I think it’s false, and it’s me, and not Chuck. If the movie is on, I’ll get up and leave the room before that scene.“Hanks also added that he realized he made a mistake only after the film was finished and he was watching the final product. However, by then it was too late to do anything about it.

Most famously, Hanks reprized his decades-long role as Woody the Sheriff in the animated feature film Toy Story 5. The premise follows all the toys trying to defeat an AI-led tablet that has managed to become Bonnie’s favorite toy.
