The BBC reported that Belfield shared that “we will never see him again and the world is less for him. I was honored to know, love and work with him and he will always have a place in my heart and in the hearts of many film and TV fans around the world.”“Soon after the news of his death spread, tributes and well wishes started pouring in. Her ‘Casualty’ co-star Derek Thompson issued a statement and said, “Truly the best job I’ve ever done, and I’ve worked with a lot of actors”, while Cathy Shipton of the same show shared, “She lived her whole life for her love, I fought for her.
