Hugh Jackman revealed that a battle scene in ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ helped him get to know his co-star Eliza Ungeri “really well” during an interview with People magazine. “If you were to watch another film, we’d look like lovers,” Jackman joked, before adding, “and Michael said, ‘I love it.’ There is a strange closeness to hand-to-hand combat and its brutality.”Detailing plot points where the two had to grow increasingly close, Jackman said the battle sequence was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” At one point, the actor received a heavy blow and landed on his opponent’s chest. The complex scene was filmed at night with large amounts of mud, prompting Jackman to respond, “I’m still shoveling mud out of the place, a year later.”
